If so, what about your CA address (is the original address still good? does familiy still live there?) Not sure if you have solved this, but I handle titling in a CA dealership. Hoping someone here is a DMV employee or guru so I dont waste hours standing in line. The site also won't let me talk to a person or make an appointment, same thing when I call. It seems like since its always been a CA title, CA DMV should be able to give me it.ĭMV does this online, but since its WA registration the website won't let me do it. If it ever did get titled in WA, wouldn't the CA title have to be surrendered? If that was a thing they would have done that when they called me and/or with the informal note they sent me. I feel like WA isn't going to issue a letter saying they didn't issue a title. I explained that it was always titled in CA even though the registration had changed. I went to AAA on CA, they said I need an official letter from WA stating they never issued a title. They said WA never requested the title and it is still titled in CA. In 2021 I contacted WA DOL to get the title. In 2017 I paid off the vehicle, but never received a title. ![]() I moved to WA in 2015 and registered it in WA. I bought my vehicle brand new in CA in 2012 and registered it in CA.
